Hi Dave !

Two years is quite some time..
It would be much better for both of us if you signed in to my Lapidary / Gemstone Community Forum to start covering some questions you have..
Much easier to communicate back and forth there..

If for some reason you do not want to go that route, just let me know and we can start talking a bit on the blog here..

Thanks for stopping in and maybe will see you on forum !

I'm fairly new to the lapidary arts, I have been cabbing for about 2 years. I just started selling my work. I usely set the stones in silver. I have a genie buffing/polishing attachment but haven't used. I have the rouge and 2 buffing wheels, the genie is one speed. Can you give me some advise on how to start with this machine. Thank you for any help you can give a new guy. Dave

Hello Jacqui,

We have been sharing quite a bit on this subject within our Lapidary / Gemstone Community forum. I would take a look at what is being discussed there. We actually have some very skilled carving members

Hope this helps a little. Maybe will see you there!

Hi there

I've hit a huge dilemma in my own work, your link came up while I was searching the net.

I hope this is not an imposition.

I'm wondering if you're aware of any carved gemstone, hand polishing methods? It would really help if you have any information with regards to hand polishing carved gems.

Thank you for reading this.

Faithfully
