Hello South Sea Pearl,

Yes, this is a very beautiful Jasper. It is from Australia.
The Ocean Jasper you reference from Madagascar is right up there on top as far as outstanding Jaspers go. Here are some examples of this Rainforest Jasper in finished cabochon form.

Another truly beautiful I have recently began to offer is a Morrisonite Jasper. Also I have taken a liking to a Willow Creek Jasper. The Morrisonite can no longer be mined. So what is on the market now will be all unless something changes.

Here are just a few examples of some beautiful Morrisonite in rough form, and then here are some examples of finished cabochons.

I must admit that I am just not familiar with the Dallasite you mentioned from Canada. I am going to ask around about it now..

Thanks for stopping in and asking about these. It is one of my personal favorites!

hello all,
That is some very nice jasper, where is it from? You are right that it would look great wrapped with silver wire perhaps.

Is the best jasper still found in Madagascar? I know it can be found in many countries, even Canada has some in British Columbia. It is a milky white with darker green spots in it; called "dallasite" by some.

looking good....south sea pearl

You can simply go to the part within the site called "gemstone products", or "products Pages" Iris.

There is a nice selection of stones there, or I can custom cut, and shape gemstones any way you request. Some people like to design the jewelry around what they would like the gemstones to look like.
